My philosophy is simple: I believe what we consume is everything—from the foods we put in our body, to the ideas we feed for our minds, to the connections we have with others. Everything gives you energy, and what you take in determines how your life will be. My goal is to champion a healthy lifestyle that is simple, accessible, and gives your body what it needs to fuel your best life possible.

Soak skewers in water while you prep ingredients.
Toss sirloin in enough teriyaki sauce to coat. Let sit for at least 5 minutes. Skewer steak, peppers and pineapple onto wooden skewers, alternating as you go. Preheat a large stainless steel or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add a little bit of olive oil to the pan. Add in your skewers and cook about 3-4 minutes per side or until the sirloin is cooked to your liking. Serve skewers with brown rice.
Plant-based: Swap out the steak for pressed, firm tofu. Cut tofu into 1” cubes. You could also just use extra veggies.
Gluten-free: Use a gluten-free teriyaki sauce.
Kid-friendly: Pull food off the skewer before serving and pair with a favorite dipping condiment.
Quick-prep: Use microwave brown rice.
